    "New" baby in the garage.

    Hi All!

Here are some photos of my new '59 El Camino.

My father bought the car in 1981 and he and I started a full frame off update in 1985 when I was 7. It took us 10 years to do. My dad never drove it in the rain and babied the crap out of it. He has now passed it on to me.

I promptly drove it 750 miles in the rain at 80 to 90, and am planning on getting rid of the rims for steelies and wide whites, and dropping it 3".

    Specs are:

    Original 348 with a 409 conversion
    Tubular upper control arms
    Hotchkiss sway bar
    Dual Master cylinder
    Front disc brakes
    Alternator
    AC
    700R4 automatic
    Two piece driveshaft
    Dual exhaust with fenderwell dumps

Can't wait to do my own thing with her!IMG_2620.jpgIMG_2625.jpgIMG_2627.jpgIMG_2631.jpgIMG_2632.jpg

    Absolutely bitchin' ride.
Very cool that you got it from your dad.

Every normal man must be tempted at times
to spit on his hands, hoist the black flag,
    and begin slitting throats
