Those seats had at least another 5,000 miles in them. Looks good John!

With a blanket over it it was almost bearable... The broken spring in there didn't feel so hot. And given the last time I drove it the seats were not bolted to the floor it was a lot of fun.

So the floor is in, sealed and painted top and bottom, I've gone ahead and 'peel n' seal'-ed the entire passenger area floor. And about 1/2" of foam insulation over the firewall and kick panels.

Headliner area is insulated with aluminum duct wrap, and will get a layer of poly batting when the vinyl goes up...
Dash and garnish moldings are out to be painted...

Yeah, I've been doing a lot of very late cold nights after the kids go to bed. I have 1 or 2 dirty jobs left, then the wiring will go down and carpet. I'll get all the under dash buttoned up, then the dash and trim will go back in. I want to try to get the headliner in too before the seats so I dont have to crawl over them.

Anyone here ever drilled the extra holes needed on a 14 bolt Fe head to allow for the early 8-bolts.
Seems like with the right tap it shouldn't be too big a deal... Short of a $500 set of headers. I am stuck with stock manifolds due to the steering box. (Replacement miter is a '66 Gt, and while it's good for over 100HP over what's in there, it has a few items to sort out.

Took some measurements tonight and I think I can actually run the Gt manifolds. Saves my machine shop money for some glass packs and dual exhaust instead!
