I have been up Pikes Peak probably 100 times. The last 4 miles is called the "Dead Zone". If you make a mistake and go off the outside, it doesnt matter who you are, your dead. Great races to watch though, they run rigs, cycles, quads, cars, trucks, buggys...just about everything.
