If it happens again a year or two I'd love to plan for being there!

It would be fun to buy a car for the trip, basically buy it here, ship it over, then sell it for European hot-rod prices, You may actually break even if you can get a good deal on something desirable on the US end, then line up a buyer in Europe.

A buddy of mine when we were in Vegas did a lot of that because he had a military shipping discount... He'd buy good condition desert cars, find a friend back home to line up a buyer and typically double his money, IE: a $2500 car here would go for 4000 Euro...
Of course the economy was booming worlwide then, I am not sure how international prices are doing these days.

plus hop on and hop offs at the several stages. oh man cant wait to start.
