DRAG RACE: Open to all cars 1972 & older. Will be conducted as “Flag Drags” with a flag man, actual racing will be “ET”-style, with handicaps. Purse to be determined. 2 Classes, Slick tires and Street tires. Both classes are “No Box” ie: no delay boxes or electronic throttle stops. Bikes run bikes until Semis. Motorcycles may not compete against cars. All racing administered by/run by National Trails Raceway No alcohol may be consumed by any competitor. Street Tire class racing included in price of admission. Bikes are same admission as cars, same opportunity to make “1/8the mile fun runs
TECH REQUIREMENTS: 1972-Older vehicles only. Trophy and Slick Classes will run 1/8th mile. NTR will offer both flag-start and tree-start time trials, competitors choice. (NTR will run each in sessions). During time trials you may choose your opponent if you want to do a little “grudge” racing. Eliminations for Trophy and Slick class will be with a tree-start and ET handicaps. Trophy class entry included in $15 admission price. Slick class entry $30. Trophy class races for trophy created by the Road Devils Car Club Slick class payout: $500/win, $200 r/u, $100 semis. All cars/bikes must go through tech inspection for safety. All competitors must wear long pants. Sweat pants OK, no nylon wind pants. Seatbelts required in all cars. Radiator overflow required. Helmets (Snell 2000 or newer) required in all open cars and cars running 8.59 or quicker in the eighth-mile.
